Until We Meet Again
I'm giving a talk in my London ward this coming Sunday on my favorite topic ever!!! I usually don't get excited to speak in church, but when it comes to speaking about general conference, I love nothing more. The topic assigned to me is: apply yourself to learning from the best books (preparing for general conference). I was happy because I had previously written a post last September on three ways to prepare for conference (post found here) and I knew I could use that talk to help teach the best ways to prepare, but I wanted to add a little and make it even more relevant. As I was doing so I found myself drawn to the end of each conference when Thomas S. Monson closes with a talk usually dealing with God being with us until we meet again. They are all super similar, but I love them all so much- maybe consistently my favorite talk. With conference rapidly approaching (yay!) I want to draw your attention to these talks. Go read them and refresh yourself on what our dear prophet has challenged us to do in the six months between conferences. You'll find the talks at the end of each Sunday afternoon session by our prophet. They're short and sweet but honestly the best! Enjoy!
